About this project

What is Sofia Capital?
Sofia Capital is an Open Educational Resources (OER) and Open Knowledge project focused on the world of finance. Its purpose is clear: to demystify finance and provide accessible, honest information free from hidden interests.
This project was born with a very specific motivation: to combat charlatans and false investment professionals who, taking advantage of the lack of financial education, end up harming working people and robbing them of the opportunity to build a stable and prosperous economic life.
Sofia Capital does not claim to be an expert voice, but rather a transparent one. I am not a financial analyst, I did not study economics, and I do not offer professional advice. Everything I share here comes from books, courses, and self-study. Like anyone, I can make mistakes. That’s why, if you find something confusing or poorly formulated, I invite you to correct me. The idea is to build knowledge together.
Sofia Capital is not a course, nor does it pretend to be one. It’s a compilation of personal notes and materials that I felt the need to share. If this content helps you better understand finance, question unrealistic promises, and make more informed decisions, then the project fulfills its purpose.
This Project Needs You
I currently manage all of this on my own.
If you also see value in an initiative like this, I wholeheartedly invite you to collaborate.
And I’m not just referring to financial help (though, let’s be honest, that helps too 😅), but especially to aspects such as review, correction, translation, or content expansion.
Every contribution, no matter how small, helps Sofia Capital continue to grow and fulfill its mission.

How can you help?
There are many ways to contribute to the project:
- Sharing the project with your close circle
- Correcting or editing existing content
- Translating content to other languages
- Contributing graphic design ideas or materials for future campaigns
- Making a donation (even a small one!)
